When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it can be a traumatic time in a family’s life. Keeping families close through such times is at the heart of what we do.
To support seriously ill children and their families, we strive to provide a safe, comfortable, warm and welcoming environment where the family can stay together for the duration of their child’s treatment. It is a place for families to be together during a very difficult and stressful time for them.
The House has grown from 18 rooms and 5 units in 2017, to a new, purpose built 60-room House in 2018 to cater for families both large and small.
Although the main service we offer at the House is accommodation, we also provide the facilities of home and added comforts, so families can travel light with peace of mind that their needs can be met while staying at the house, no matter how short or long their stay.
